Rikkyo University New Campus Building (PC Project)
Building No.6 in the Rikkyo University, which is the largest in scale among the three new buildings was built as an annexation for the university library. In order to reduce the construction time and to minimize the noise pollution level in the university area, full PC construction method is adopted for this particular project. In response to the request of the university, the building which will principally be used as an educational facility for contemporary psychology, was designed to reflect the aforementioned study subject. A beam design with curvy geometry line was adopted for this building by applying tension on each conventional precast straight beam to represent the purpose of the building.
