Vaisigano Bridge Reconstruction Project

The bridge was completed in 2020 by using the pre-tensioned girder construction method. Generally, pre-tensioned girder is pre-manufactured in our specialized manufacturing facilities. However due to the geographical condition and the availability circumstances, the concrete abutment was simplified and manufactured in a makeshift factory locally and pre-tensioned simultaneously in batches to match the same quality as those manufactured in our specialized factory.
