Copper Slag Concrete

In recent years, the use of copper slag fine aggregate, which is an industrial by-product, has attracted attention from the viewpoint of dealing with the decrease in high-quality natural aggregate and effective use of resources, and related JIS and various standards are also being revised. PS Construction possesses manufacturing technology for precast members with copper slag concrete using copper slag fine aggregate, and has successfully applied this technology to several building construction projects. In addition, this technology can be used to manufacture heavy concrete because the density of copper slag aggregate is 1.4 times higher than that of normal aggregate. Copper slag concrete is also environmentally friendly concrete contributing to reduce environmental burden and build recycling-oriented society, so we, are actively promote its use.
